• Hair must be worn up in a neat bun with hairpins; no braids or pony tails except for pre-school dancers. BOYS
Black biker shorts or tight-fitting dance pants or tights, belt, white short-sleeved ballet shirt, white or black canvas slippers. BALLET SHOES
All ballet students will wear split-sole canvas slippers with drawstrings tucked in. Preschool and beginners may wear stretch ballet slippers also. PLEASE NOTE: ELASTIC MUST BE SEWN ON ALL BALLET SLIPPERS!! POINTE
Acceptable brands are: Bloch, Russian Pointe, Grishko, Capezio, Gaynor Minden, Suffolk and must be purchased at an approved retailer. ATTIRE
Same as ballet except black jazz shorts may also be worn; Tan tights may be worn. Tank tops are fine.
Boys may wear a black t-shirt with black shorts or jazz pants.
Girls must keep their hair pulled away from face. FOOTWEAR (Studio Purchase Required, excluding Hip Hop sneakers)
Tap shoes: TAN BUCKLE TAP (PB & Level 1-2). TAN slip-on tap shoes (girls) for Level 2/3. Black oxford (boys) and Level 4 Tap wears BLACK lace up tap shoes
Contemporary: Closed-toe Lyrical/Pirrouette Shoes TAN
Jazz: Tan CANVAS split-sole jazz boot (no laces). NO jazz sneakers.
